2003 Isuzu Rodeo S TIMING BELT Removal. 2. Remove 4 crankshaft pulley bolts, and remove pulley from crankshaft. It is NOT necessary to remove the crankshaft center bolt. Remove engine harness cover from front of engine. 3. Remove timing belt cover. If reusing old belt, place mark on belt to indicate direction of belt rotation. 4. Rotate crankshaft clockwise so camshaft and crankshaft timing marks are aligned. See Fig. 1 . Remove timing belt tensioner pulley bolt, and remove timing belt tensioner. Remove timing belt.
